Email account is blocked

Very annoying, my main Email account is blocked, for rediculous enough reason. I didn't forget my password. But all a sudden, the machine asked me to verify my account. What the hell. Who would have set the security question as stupid as 'what is the last name of the maid of honor in your wedding?' No matter what, even if this was really an existing question as a matter of fact, how could the answer which I have given incorrect? Or, is this a sign, that asks me to stop using Email?
